Saddle Height Calculator

Enter your inseam to get a starting saddle height using three common fitting methods. Saddle height is measured from the center of the bottom bracket to the top of the saddle.

These are starting points. Fine-tune ±5 mm based on flexibility, shoe/cleat stack, and riding style. Always make small adjustments.

About these methods

LeMond (×0.883) — Popularized by Greg LeMond. Multiply inseam by 0.883. Simple, widely used for road bikes.

Hamley 109% (×1.09) — Multiply inseam by 1.09. Based on a study of competitive cyclists. Often gives a slightly higher result.

Lewin (×1.07 − 4 mm) — A slight variation: multiply by 1.07 then subtract 4 mm. Works well for longer-legged riders.
